Activities

No pamper party is complete without a makeover. You can have the girls paint each other’s nails while you apply face masks to each guest. Then, once everyone has cleansed and moisturised their faces, it’s time for a make-up tutorial. It’s best to check with parents beforehand, but most teenage girls will jump at the chance to learn new make-up tips, and it might even get them to step away from the orange foundation.

Offering hair tips and demonstrating on the birthday girl is also a great way to get everyone involved, as they can offer up their own ideas and practise on each other.

Food and drink

Afternoon tea and pamper parties are a perfect combination. Finger sandwiches, fresh fruit, and even a chocolate fountain with marshmallows are all quick, cheap and easy, but really add to the atmosphere and are sure to be a hit with the guests.

For drinks, think cocktails - non-alcoholic, of course! Even the most boring glass of fruit juice can be made fabulous by being served in a cocktail glass with a little umbrella. Again, it’s simple and won’t break the bank, but will go with the party theme perfectly.
